We're clearing out the original art from Toothpaste For Dinner comics by selling one RANDOM comic for $19.00, and THREE of them for $40.00! These are the original pen-on-paper drawings which are scanned into the computer to become Toothpaste For Dinner, and they are all made with Micron pens on 4"x6" pieces of 300lb-weight Bristol board.
I've sold individual comics for as much as $79 in the past so this is an insane deal. The fact of the matter is that people just don't buy many t-shirts in the winter, and we need to keep things running smoothly. Our pain is your gain. Not only do you ensure that we'll be able to stay online and publish daily comics for TFD/ND/MTTS, but you can own one or more original Toothpaste For Dinner comics, suitable for framing and display in your home or workplace, for a small cost.
US shipping for any number of original-art pieces is only $5.65 since I'm shipping them myself, from my house, instead of having our warehouse ship them.
At some point in 2010 I will most likely make the transition to drawing TFD digitally, straight into the computer, which means that I will no longer have original art for sale. Since the art from prior to 2008 wasn't drawn on high-quality paper and is not suitable for display, this will be the last original TFD art available for sale.
The Sharing Machine Contest 2010 is now open! From now until March 23, email us a photograph of your Toothpaste For Dinner (or Natalie Dee / Married To The Sea) t-shirt and win free t-shirts/books/etc. Instructions on how to enter are at the contest page.
If you don't already have a TFD / ND / MTTS t-shirt, this would be a good time to get one.
CRUDBUMP: NA$TYJAM$ is still fluctuating around #10-12 on the rap/hip-hop charts on iTunes/Amazon and has been pegged at the #1 spot in spoken-word albums for over a week. Thanks to everyone who has supported the project so far! The full lyrics for the album are now online if you haven't read those yet.
Also, I put a new video on Youtube today called "Fuck You Snow."
Late last year, I finished my first full-length album in over five years. It's under the name CRUDBUMP. It is an electronic rap album with 15 songs. You should listen to it. It can be previewed on iTunes and Amazon MP3.
You can download it right now through both of these sites. It's self-released (not through a label) so if you buy one of the 100 limited-edition CDs available at Sharing Machine, or you shell out a few bucks to download them from iTunes/Amazon, I get those few bucks. Just a heads up to make sure you know there are no major labels or big companies taking the money instead of me.
